Shahid Afridi advises patience for full recovery as Saim Ayub to miss CT 2025 due to ankle injury

Shahid Afridi, gave some advice to Saim Ayub. Obviously, they must have spoken on the phone or something before he shared that advice. Otherwise, there's no way he could have just written it down and told someone to pass it to Saim. He said, “Sure, I’ll get it to him,” but it ended up being a scam, and now Saim hasn’t received it. The advice is the same I had given to Saim Ayub. So, the thing is, Saim Ayub didn’t take my advice, but he should listen to Lala’s advice instead.

Hey man, don’t rush the recovery process. Don’t be in a hurry to get better just because the Champions Trophy 25 is coming up or whatever. Lala said to take your time with the recovery. Sometimes, even a small injury can get worse if you don’t give it the proper time to heal. So, just take it easy and focus on healing properly before you jump back in.

"You're gonna be playing and having fun again soon. Just give it a day or two, and you'll be fine. But since you had a big operation, recovery might take a few months, you know? Just keep that in mind. Plus, he mentioned that you're pretty young, and Lala also said you're a very young player with a lot of cricket ahead of you. So there's no need to rush anything. Just take it easy at home, relax, drink some juice, have some soup, enjoy yourself, and watch TV."

The content is really top-notch over there. It's all about getting fit before that recommended series or whatever band you’re looking to join. If you’ve had an injury, you can’t get back on the ground until you’ve fully recovered and your doctor gives you the green light. Your medical report has to be all clear. Even for light jogging, you need to be 100% fit in every way—physically, mentally, and on paper. So just take a break until you’re really ready.

"After that, once you recover and reach 110 in every category, come back to cricket from where you left off. I really hope that Saim Ayub has taken this advice to heart and fits it into his head. That's all for this video. Take care, and I'll see you in the next one. Peace out!"
