Rohit Sharma will visit Pakistan for ICC Captains photoshoot Or He should not come To PAK

Hey friends, what's up? The Indian cricket team didn't come to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy 2025, but now there are reports that Rohit Sharma might visit Pakistan. You see, before every major ICC tournament, the captains have to hold a joint press conference and do a photo shoot with the trophy. Last time, Babar Azam was in Hyderabad and was specially taken to Ahmedabad for the trophy photo shoot, along with all the other players.

The other teams are busy with their own practice, but the captain is the one who comes together for just that day. So, the news is that Rohit Sharma will fly from Dubai to Karachi. He’ll be in Karachi for a bit to participate in an ICC photoshoot and then head back to Dubai because the Indian cricket team has a match the next day. Now, will Rohit come on the 19th for the opening, or will he arrive a day earlier on the 18th? Since India’s match is on the 20th, I think he might come on the 18th, but he might not be there for the opening day on the 19th. It's possible.

If you're trying to get all the captains to show up at the opening ceremony, then Rohit will definitely be there. But in the tournaments we've seen lately, it seems like the captains only gather the day before the opening ceremony. I remember back in 2011 when the World Cup was held in India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, there was an opening ceremony in Bangladesh where all the captains were present together. But recently, it feels like the captains just come together for a photo shoot and a press conference the day before.

"Let's all join our respective teams because the other players are practicing for the tournament. Rohit might come on the 18th; there's a chance a photoshoot could happen on the 17th or maybe the 18th since the Champions Trophy starts the next day. So, Rohit Sharma could come to Karachi. But the Indian media is questioning whether the Indian government's stance has changed since they accepted Pakistan's demand for a hybrid model for the 2026 T20 World Cup."

The Indian media was making a big fuss, and I suddenly thought, if Rohit Sharma comes to Pakistan, what will happen to his security? All the drama and excuses about security from the Indian media, their cricket board, and the government have been pathetic, especially in trying to ruin this Champions Trophy. So, Rohit Sharma shouldn't come to Karachi. Why should he? Even Jai Shah is coming, so what about security then? Sharma shouldn't come at all.

"To that Indian media, the BCCI folks, and the Indian government who stopped the Indian cricket team from going to Pakistan for three matches in this Champions Trophy, they've messed up two of their events in response. But now that we finally have an event after 28 years, they're throwing a tantrum. So my question is, should we stop Rohit Sharma? Tell Jay Shah to come on TV every day and address this. And as for the news going around, I can't confirm it, but the buzz is that Rohit might come to Pakistan for an ICC photoshoot or something."

Indian media, BCCI, and the Indian government should definitely take all the ICC captains to Dubai where Rohit Sharma is. They should go there and do a photoshoot. Look, a wealthy cricket board, a big cricket board, one that has influence within the ICC and whose chairman is part of the ICC, should absolutely do this. They should call all the captains to Dubai for an ICC photoshoot instead of calling them to Karachi.

It'll be interesting to see what happens when Rohit comes to Pakistan. The Indian media made a big deal about it, swearing up and down about how anti-Pakistan they are. They really need to tone that down now, especially with the 2026 T20 World Cup coming up. When the captains have their press conference and photo shoot, we shouldn't have the Pakistani captain there either. Whatever they do in this Champions Trophy should be the same for Pakistan in 2026. I’d really like to see that, you know?

"Pakistani fans are always complaining, right? They’ve really done everything to ruin our champion trophy. They didn’t even send a security delegation, and their media is just making a drama every day. We’re the ones hosting the tournament at our own stadiums in Dubai, so what’s their problem? Even the Indian umpire in the ICC elite panel is being told by the BCCI not to go to Pakistan. What excuses are they coming up with now?"

Yeah, there’s never been a war between Australia and Pakistan or England and Pakistan. So if there’s a war between Pakistan and India, how can you guys play with Pakistan in Dubai? Didn’t you feel ashamed playing in New York or Melbourne? Those who sit and talk about being anti-Pakistan aren’t really sports lovers; they just follow the government line. Their mindset is all about hating Pakistan, and there are millions of Indians like that.

A lot of people in Pakistan want to see their cricket team playing at home, and I know many who believe that sports should be kept away from politics. The Indian cricket team is playing in England and Australia, so what's the issue with them coming to Pakistan? The Indian fans want it too. But because of political pressures and vote bank issues, it seems like they can't make it happen. I'm really confused about this. Someone needs to explain to me why Rohit Sharma can't come to Karachi for an ICC players' photoshoot.

Is it possible for Rohit to join the captains' photoshoot? Will he be able to make it or not? Should he even come? If he does show up, it'll be a major embarrassment for all those anti-Pakistan folks in India, since they'll be crying about why our captain left. So, it's probably better to just bring the trophy and the other seven captains to Dubai for the photoshoot for the 2026 T20.

Even if the Pakistani captain doesn’t show up for the World Cup, it’s all good because Jay Shah himself will be there for the opening ceremony. There won’t be any issues when Rohit comes to Pakistan either. The truth is, they tried to mess with our Champions Trophy, but thank God it’s happening, and we’re sending that pesky neighbor’s team packing. The rest of our tournament will, God willing, be a success. In response, come 2026, I’ll remind them of all these videos and the things we’re discussing now.

"Since at that point they have a part to cry approximately, a parcel to complain approximately, and a parcel to yell around. We're not a big board, we don't have money, we don't have much influence in the ICC, we're not ICC broadcasters, and we don't sponsor the ICC much either. Everything is in their hands, so they're not coming to us. Maybe it doesn't matter to them that our team won't be playing in their country for the World Cup, and this situation will continue. It'll be interesting to see their faces and how they react, especially their media and other cricket fans who want their share."

"Characters want to see a few ex-characters who probably get paid for sitting on TV. I want to see the Indian media's reaction if Rohit plays in Pakistan. It should be a pretty scary reaction. If they don't react that way, then they should be ashamed after all the comments they've made about Pakistan over the last three months."
