PSL 10 Draft Completed All Six Squads and Big Names Joined The Pakistan Super League.

Hey everyone, peace! The teams have finalized their squads for the Pakistan Super League. The draft took place in Lahore, and Kane Williamson was picked up by the Karachi Kings. David Warner will also be playing for the Karachi Kings. These are some big names that got selected today. So now all six teams in the Pakistan Super League have their squads ready. I'll read out the squads to you, and I want to know your thoughts on which team looks the strongest. Let's start with the Lahore Qalandars!

Lahore Qalandars have picked New Zealand's Darryl Mitchell for the Platinum category today, while Fakhar Zaman and Shaheen Afridi were already part of the squad. Haris Rauf, along with Sri Lankan batsman Kusal Perera and Sikandar Raza, are also on the team. Abdullah Shafique, Zaid Khan, Zaman Khan, Asif Afridi, and Asif Ali, who has played for Islamabad United for a while, were all part of the team when Misbah was the captain, and that's when Islamabad won the title, including that Karachi final.

That innings was really memorable. David Bije, I don't know why he’s still playing in the Pakistan Super League. Mohammad Ikhlas, Hussain Mohammad, Ajab Momin, Kamar, and later in the supplementary category, Sam Billings, Tom Curran, Mohammad Ali Mirza, and Mohammad Naim have all been picked by Lahore Qalandars. Now, inside Lahore Qalandars, we have big names like Darryl Mitchell, Fakhar Zaman, and Kushal Perera, along with Sikandar Raza and Haris Rauf. And then there’s Abdullah Shafique; that’s their team. If we talk about Karachi Kings, they’ve got David Warner and Aiden Markram, and they were selected today.

Abbass Afridi was already part of the team, and so was Hasan Ali. James Vince and Khushdil Shah have been batting really well lately in the private leagues. Khushdil Shah is also part of Karachi Kings. Aamir Jamal has moved from Peshawar Zalmi to Karachi Kings, so he’s on their team now. Shan Masood is obviously the captain of Karachi Kings, and Mohammad Irfan Khan Niyazi, who is a player for the Pakistani team, is also part of Karachi Kings. Today, Karachi Kings picked Arafat Minhas and Liton Das, along with Mir Hamza and Tom Seifert.

The New Zealand players currently playing in the BBL are part of the Karachi Kings, including Zahid Mahmood, Fawad Ali, and Riaz Ullah. In the supplementary category, Karachi Kings have picked Mohammad Nabi, Kane Williamson, Umair Bin Yusuf, and Mirza Momin. Big names like Kane Williamson and David Warner are also part of the Karachi Kings team, and they've included Mohammad Nabi in their squad as well. The Quetta Gladiators have selected Fahim Ashraf, Finn Allen, and New Zealand's Mark Chapman. So, both Finn Allen and Fahim Ashraf are in the mix too.

Ibrar Ahmed was picked for the Platinum category and is part of the Ready team. Rosso is the captain, and Mohammad Amir has been part of the team from the start. Akil Hussain, Saud Shakeel, and Mohammad Wasim Jr. are already in the squad from the West Indies. Hasibullah Khawaja is a tall fast bowler from New Zealand. Khurram Shehzad is a fast bowler for the Pakistani team, and Usman Tariq, who you know is a spinner, had a good bowling performance in one match. Besides Mohammad Jishan and Hasan Nawaz, they also selected Sri Lankan batsman Kusal Mendis today from the wild card, sorry, supplementary category, and Shawn Abbott, who...

Australia's fast bowler has been added to the squad today by Quetta Gladiators, along with Shoaib Malik and Danish Aziz. Babar Azam is dealing with an injury, but there are chances that he and Sam Ayub will recover in time. Tom Cadmore from England has also been picked today, along with South African Corbin Bosch. Mohammad Ali, Mohammad Haris, wicketkeeper-batsman Abdul Samad, Hussain Talat, and Bangladesh's Nadeem Rana have also been selected. Asif Yaqub is in the mix too.

Najeebullah Ardakani, who's a player from Afghanistan, has been selected today along with Mehran Mumtaz, Sufiyan Muqeem, Ali Raza, and Ma Sadakat. Ahmed Daniyal and Al Jari Joseph have been picked as wild card entries. Pisha Jalmi mentioned that the Multan Sultans team always makes it to the finals; they've played four, five, or even six finals in a row. Mitchell Bracewell, the New Zealand bowler, has also been chosen. Rizwan is the captain, and Usama Mir was already in the platinum category. They've included David Willey, Iftikhar Ahmed, Usman Khan, Chris Jordan, and Kamran Ghulam in their squad.

Bowler Mohammad Hasnain has moved from Quetta and is now part of the Multan Sultans. Aqif Javed is with them, and they've got West Indian player Kieron Pollard on their team. Josh Little has joined the squad, and Faisal Akram, Tayyab Tahir, and Obaid Shah (Naseem Shah's brother) have also been added to the team. Shahid Aziz, Johnson Charles, Shai Hope, Yasir Khan, and Mohammad Amir Barki are now part of the Multan Sultans as well. The final team for Multan Sultans includes Islamabad United, who have picked Australian Matthew Short along with Naseem Shah and Shadab Khan.

Imad Wasim is already part of the platinum category, and he's joined by Azam Khan and Jason Holder from the West Indies. Salman Irshad has been picked as well, along with Salman Ali, Haider Ali, and Andres Gaus from the USA. Colon Manohar, Mohammad Nawaz, and Roman Raees are still in the squad, but it's unclear why they're playing. Hun Shah is the brother of Naseem Shah, and Saad Masood, along with Wonder Dawson from South Africa, have also been selected for the team. Islamabad United is the defending champion of the Pakistan Super League, and there are some big names in the league.

The Pakistan Super League (PSL) is happening around the same time as the IPL, so international cricket is on hold. That's why these players are available for the PSL. Some guys who weren't picked in the IPL are getting a shot in the PSL. This is the 10th edition of the PSL, and it's the first time we're seeing these players, who usually play at the international level, participating because they’re not tied up with other commitments. England has sent their players too.

The issue about not getting the NOC for the Pakistan Super League hasn’t been resolved. This time, it looks like the squads are solid. In my opinion, Karachi Kings have made some smart moves. Ever since Haider Azhar joined them, he’s really put in a lot of effort. Karachi Kings had a rough patch with all those consecutive losses, but I hope they’ll turn it around this year. Lahore Qalandars also had a terrible last season, so I’m hoping they’ll do better this time too. Overall, the teams look pretty strong.

The IPL is probably happening on one side, and the PSL is going on the other, with no international cricket in between. So, both leagues running at the same time will be great for cricket fans, and they’ll really enjoy watching. Anyway, I was hoping that Kane Williamson would be picked in the platinum category, but he wasn’t. He ended up being picked in the supplementary category instead. In any case, he's now part of the Pakistan Super League. David Warner's big pick was Darryl Mitchell, who is coming to play in the PSL for the first time, so I hope that goes well!

"Let's see if this tournament is a success. Islamabad United is the defending champion, so it'll be interesting to see if Multan Sultans can finally win, especially since they always end up losing in the finals. They’ve won once before, but they really should win again because they play really well throughout the tournament. I hope Rizwan puts in a lot of effort, but Shan Masood's team, Karachi Kings, is looking pretty strong this time. Thanks a lot!
